Excel Health Announces New Productivity Solutions for Post-Acute Providers

OCTOBER 7, 2018
Software solutions leverage industry’s most timely and complete referral data to boost financial outcomes, operational efficiencies, and sales productivity

ATLANTA, GA – Excel Health, the healthcare industry’s only source for current and complete outcomes data and performance analytics, announced a new suite of software solutions designed to help post-acute care sales and business leaders more easily engage referral sources in performance-based conversations. The solutions eliminate the need for sales resources to manipulate or interpret complex data sets by automating market analysis on their behalf and presenting the results in action-oriented panels.

Built on the most current and complete set of Medicare claims data available, the new solutions present a 360-degree view of the competitive landscape and post-acute care utilization patterns for any given service area and any given healthcare provider, whether it be an independent physician or a facility. Because the Excel Health data is the only source for 100% of Medicare office-based physician, facility and agency data, sales resources can be confident that they are presenting the most recent and complete analysis. The solutions even prepare a snapshot of the most important provider performance metrics that can be used to demonstrate the value the agency is uniquely qualified to deliver.

“One of the biggest issues home health agencies constantly struggle with is realizing the return on the significant investments they make in sales and marketing,” said Ian Juliano, CEO of Excel Health. “Developing physician referral relationships represents a massive untapped opportunity, but it is particularly challenging for busy marketing and sales resources who have limited time and experience with big databases and complicated reports. With the click of a few buttons, our new solutions eliminate the complexities and ambiguity of preparing for evidence-based conversations and allow the sales representative to focus on what he or she does best – building relationships and selling the value of an agency’s service.”

In a recent Porter Research survey of nearly 75 home health and hospice leaders, 76% of respondents claim to be getting increased pressure from referral sources to better understand their quality/performance metrics. Excel Health’s new solutions empower every person within an organization to simply and easily prepare data-driven presentations built on the most recent and complete data available.

“Our customers value the recency and completeness of our data and have been instrumental in helping us design and deliver the industry’s first sales productivity solutions to help their representatives better understand the opportunities within their territories and be better prepared with evidence-based performance metrics. In addition to empowering every sales representative with easy to use solutions, we are also taking a giant step toward accomplishing our mission of enabling the creation of high-performing care networks on behalf of patients,” Juliano added.

The new solutions are being demonstrated at the National Association of Home Care and Hospice this week, booth #415. They are available at no charge for current Excel Health customers and for those agencies who choose to purchase the complete Excel Health offering before the end of 2018.
